Now back to normal. Lucy and Hercules came out this weekend in the middle of all the comic con news, so lets see how both movies and other movies this week already did.
Weekend box office
1.) Lucy- $ 44 million
2.) Hercules- $ 29 million
3.) Dawn of the planet of the apes- $16 million
4.) The purge anarchy- $ 9.8 million
5.) Planes fire & rescue- $ 9.3 million
6.) Sex tape- $5.9 million
7.)Transformers age of extinction- $ 4.6 million
8.) And so it goes- $ 4.5
9.) Tammy- $ 3.4 million
10.) A man most wanted- $2.7
So the Rock got beat up by the pregnant Scarlet Johanssen- that's going to be the headline most people who report on box office's will report. I didn't review either movie because of Guardians of the galaxy and because of house renovations I wanted to save my money for that movie. Hopefully do to the success of Lucy, we might get a Black Widow movie? (Come on Marvel everyone's mad at you about Comic Con, so make them happy!)
Glad to see Dawn of the apes doing well along with Purge Anarchy both movies which I really liked (even though I gave on of them a not so glowing review.) I am surprised to see that Planes fire & Rescue hasn't really dropped all that much in the second week.
So that's the weekend box office- this Friday I'm going to be Hooked on a feeling!
