Umm... I don't generally report on news mainly because a lot of the thing it's rumor when it breaks and I don't generally report on it if it's not that big or it doesn't touch my interest. This one is pretty big and it's about comics and movies...
Basically what happened is Fox the studio that owns X-men and Fantastic four just TRIED to buy not only DC comics movie rights but Warner Bros. one of the big movie studios for 80 billion dollars. Now I put an emphasis on TRIED because WB refused stating it wouldn't be good for the company but in this business when money talks it convinces and rumor has it Fox is going to try again. So if anything happens I'll be back to report.
This also raises some interesting questions. What happens to the X-men and Fantastic Four properties if Fox buys the competition? What's going on in WB? What would happen to Batman v Superman: Dawn of justice? Does it get canceled or does it just continue? This is an interesting story on many levels because this isn't a major studio buying a smaller studio or a well-known property, this a major movie studio attempting to buy another major studio. It looks like WB said no but who knows what might happen overall.
Well see you tomorrow or maybe later depending on what happens.
