Weekend box office prediction

Ok I seem to be getting on a sort of schedule now so that's good, September in Hollywood land tends to be the dead zone for movies. Hollywood tends to section it's movies off into seasons with late spring and all of summer being "blockbuster season" while the months of October to December tend to be what's considered Oscar season, with months like January and September being dead zone season where the worse of worst usually come out. Summer is over so technically blockbuster season is over but it's not yet oscar season yet so looks like it's going to be B-movie season for a bit.

Only two movies of any sort of attention worth paying are November man and As above so below (worst movie title ever!) I don't know whether I'll be reviewing these movies or movies that came out a week or two ago. Anyway here's my box off prediction for them anyway.

November Man
Weekend box office: $5-10 million
Domestic box office: $20-35 million
International box office: $35-$50 million
Worldwide box office: $ 55-85 million

Yeah... November man's probably going to bomb hardcore, I and I think a lot of people are getting sick of the old man action hero trope that seems to be on the knife's edge of running itself into the ground as a genre. I know Liam Neeson will always work but yeah for Pierce Bronson who the last movie where I can remember him staring in was Mama Mia (when did that come out anyway 2006 or 2007?)

As above so below (WHO TITLED THIS???)
Weekend box office: $15-$20 million
Domestic box office: $30-50 Million
International box office: $50-$70 million
Worldwide box office: $80-$120 million

Coming away from the title (was Catacombs or Caverns so hard?) While I know their are a lot of people sick of the found footage gimmick but this still has a audience and they will come out to support all of this.

Weekend box office list
1.) Guardians of the galaxy
2.) Teenage mutant ninja turtles
3.)As above so below
4.) Let's be cops
5.) November man
6.) If I stay
7.) When the game stands tall
8.) Expendables 3
9.) Sin City a dame to kill for
10.) The Giver

So that's the weekend box office and I set up a bit (tiny bit) more professional twitter page for this blog specifically. So tomorrow is my editorial and expect... something.
